AEOLIX project coordinator, Lina Konstantinopoulou, ERTICO – ITS Europe, participated at the ECG Conference 2017 on Friday, 20 October 2017, with a presentation “Moving towards an EU harmonised policy on logistics”.
Lina Konstantinopoulou talked about the digitalisation of transport and logistics (DTLF), an expert group set up by the European Commission and the Transport and Logistics programme ERTICO is currently focusing on.
She also stressed the challenges and barriers supply chain is currently facing (information gaps, interoperability, scalability etc.) and presented the ambitions of the AEOLIX platform as a pan European solution for end-to-end visibility to overcome these barriers.
ECG’s Annual Conference entitled “Digital revolutions in political turmoil” was held on 19th/20th October at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels, Belgium with about 280 participants. More information on the conference is available here.
ECG – The Association of European Vehicle Logistics – is the established platform for the automotive logistics sector bringing together logistics service providers, manufacturer logistics managers and suppliers to the sector.
