The Export Summit VI conference of the Greek International Business Associaiton (SEVE) was held on Thursday 21 June 2018 at the Makedonia Palace Hotel, in Thessaloniki under the theme “The digital e-ra, Business on the move, Exports in the fast lane”. The purpose of the Summit VI was to inform and educate the participants in digital business and how to apply the new technologies to the businesses. The subject of the conference was focused on the development of the digital transformation of extroversion enterprises with the purpose of creating a comparative advantage and adapting the new “digital” era.
Dr. Georgia Ayfadopoulou, Research Director & Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), AEOLIX, participated in the E-Logistics & E-Promotion section and talked about the digitization of enterprises in the logistics and data exchange with the aim of optimizing the supply chain.
Also, at the same time she considered the need for a reliable data network imperative, while she emphasized that AEOLIX is a platform that contributes to the exchange of data and aims to bring together individual public and private systems, ERP systems, chain monitoring systems and e-CMR. Finally, she pointed out that “the exchange of data will enable the development of added value”.
